Dear Sawgrass Members,
On February 21, the Sawgrass community once again came together to celebrate Foundation Day, raising nearly $60,000. Activities across Fitness, Tennis, the Youth Activity Center, the Clubhouse, and the Range engaged members in a day of awareness and fundraising in support of the Sawgrass Foundation’s mission to provide educational scholarships and acute hardship assistance to Sawgrass employees and their families. The day culminated with the Foundation Day reception featuring music by Bo and Tia, delectables from Chef Mike and his team, wine tastings, an exciting silent auction, and a raffle showcasing a spectacular array of unique baskets. The evening was made even more meaningful with the introduction of our scholars, three of whom shared their personal stories and how these scholarships—made possible by your generosity—have changed their lives forever.
On behalf of our all-volunteer board, thank you to everyone who participated and continues to support the Sawgrass Foundation throughout the year. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible Sawgrass team who helped bring this event to life—Food & Beverage, Marketing, Membership, Golf, Tennis, Fitness, Kids Club, Human Resources, and Accounting. It truly takes a village.
